Five-star housebuilder Barratt Developments (which includes the Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands) has launched an astonishing seven new developments over a short seven-week period, delivering 1,183 new homes and supporting 609 jobs region-wide.
A total of £154 million has been invested into seven new sites across the Yorkshire East region. 1,183 brand-new two, three, four and five-bedroom homes will be available. The new developments include Prospect Rise in Whitby, Kingsley Meadows in Harrogate, Harrier Chase in Brough, Poppy Fields in Cottingham, Fairfield Croft in York and Torne Farm and Park Edge in Doncaster.
The much-welcomed new developments will help to address a region-wide housing shortage. But that’s not all – it will create over 600 employment opportunities for the region. This includes everything from trade roles to head office positions.
